Coen Echols told their staffers LSU is negatively recruiting the Aggies the hardest.
I didn’t even realize LSU was recruiting Echols.
Miller back in CS; could wait until February to sign.

Good. They do the same thing to us. Anyone remember that video at a recruiting bash of one of their coaches trashing us that got leaked? All’s fair in love and war.

And nothing has really changed about the prospects of their class. What does that tell you? The bags are being secured by the athletic department to smooth over the new coach transition.
I think LSU will have to win the money game, especially for east Texas kids where location for LSU/A&M is not a deciding factor.

Or recruits are finishing up their high school senior year and waiting to see who the hire is. There’s plenty of time to flip.

Negatively recruiting against a competing school is no different than recruits dragging programs along that they have no intentions of attending or shopping themselves around for who will pay them the most.

Would it be considered negative recruiting if one did what A&M did insofar as saying “LSU (insert any other team) is offering you X in NIL? We will double it!”?
