I can definitely see that comparison but there are a few things I think he did better than Rivers coming out of HS. The clip i posted didnt show it as mu h but I think Cam is much more comfortable scoring as a non-ball-handler (ala Ray Allen) than Rivers was. Part of Rivers downfall was that he was too ball dominant and incapable of scoring by coming off of screens and from the catch and shoot. Also, I think Cam has a better left hand than Rivers. Rivers got away with it in HS because he was so much better than everyone else but he was incredibly right hand dominant and never really developed his ability to use his off hand. I think Cam is in a much better spot from that regard (once again the clip I posted may not show it as much). I dont think Cam is a one and done but I do think he wil be a great 2-3 year player who will definitely rack up some All SEC accolades and probably even some All American honors in his later years. He averaged 30 a game on a super talented team in a super talented league this summer. He also played with potential top 5 pick Cole Anthony on Oak Hill last year and was the team's leading scorer. He is a guy who will definitely be able to put up points in college and should have a solid PG setting him up in either Jalen Cook or James Bishop (and maybe Javonte if he stays). I could see Cam having a college career similar to Buddy Hield or Marcus Thornton. His size may hurt him in the NBA but it wont affect him in college as much.

Great news. But for about 3/4 of a second I was like "what the hell position on the gridiron is SG; is that on the line?" I forget that basketball is popular again. Hope we actually land him!

A buddy of mine is tight with the staff and he said that Cam literally did not miss during his workout on his visit.
