Wasn’t it Willis, Hootie, Noil, Brown, and another? I can’t remember I was young.

Hootie was not part of the 5 for 5. Pretty sure Malachi Dupre was.

Leonard
Cam Robinson
Speedy Noil
Willis
Hootie Jones

Jamal wasn't in the initial 5 for 5 He was a Texas kid who committed late after Hootie went to Bama

Correct answer. Weren’t they labeled as the “5” because they were from Louisiana?

Would be pretty hard for LSU to go 2 of 5 with that list

I remember being really bummed out that we didn't get Hootie but a lot of people were saying that Jamal Adams was the better player.

We got the only two that amounted to anything.

Gerald Willis took his sweet time, but was a second team All-American this past year by several publications

Advocate Staff Report - Willis, who prepped at Edna Karr in New Orleans, was part of an elite group of five five-star players LSU hoped to secure commitments from on the same day in 2014. The other four players? Leonard Fournette (St. Augustine/New Orleans, LSU), Jamal Adams (Hebron High/Dallas area, LSU), Speedy Noil (Karr High/New Orleans, Texas A&M) and Tony Brown (Ozen High/Beaumont, Alabama).

Gerald Willis
Leonard Fournette
Jamal Adams
Speedy Noil

Jamal Adams was indeed part of the 5, not sure why some of you think Hootie was in that....the ship had sailed with him already, thankfully

so it was considered by the rant to be a debacle but in hindsight there were 2 superstars in the 5.

Both were Tigers.

5 for 5 was coined a pre-UAAA game hype for the 5 kids announcing that day.

LF
Jamal
Speedy
Willis
Tony Brown

There is no other correct answer.

Man, some of y’all have bad memories... they announced at the 2014 under armour game and Jamal and leornard were the only ones to commit to LSU... brown, Willis, and noil surprised the staff by committing to other schools... felt like a Landon Collins moment at the time, but in the end it worked out.
