With all due respect to vt...they lost bud foster. They weren't LSU even with bud foster, but they just don't offer the type of success that LSU does and the exposure either. Can't blame him if he chooses LSU over vt.

Aren't most players 2 year projects? I mean, a stingley , starting as a freshman,is rare.

On the 40 time,I really don't see where that matters for a pass rusher ,unless he's not explosive ,and without a get off ,it doesn't matter that much
. It's not a deal breaker.

Is he really that good? 247 who is the best in the business is not that impressed by him. I’m sure aloud coaches like him a lot for a reason tho. Just curious.

Coaches are the best in the business of evaluating recruits. 247 has missed on plenty of kids.

Yeah, I’ll take the evaluations of the guys who brought in Jefferson, CEH, Burrow, etc over some random 247 or rivals guys. The coaches have proven pretty damn effective at it to this point.

Coach O and his staff haven't missed on many recruits lately. Brooks leaving sucks but we will reload. Now let's get Naquan onboard and keep rolling.

Did you watch his film? Him playing WR and looking very versatile tells me all I need to know.

Very good burst at snap. Plays fast and is fearless. Willing to sacrifice body to make play. Possesses flexibility to dip shoulder and accelerate around edge. Changes direction well. Athleticism to drop into coverage.

This should be all people need to see. Great athlete that can get to the passer. If he puts on weight as expected this year, can be a real force.

No doubt you can make a decent living scouting for 247/Rivals. But if you’re that great at talent evaluation, you’re coaching for a P5 program making several hundred thousand a year.
