To people that have a 247 subscription. Y’all do realize that your obligated to post any and all Aggie melts for us to view, correct?

Another video flop. Can’t they get someone else to cover these commitments. Congratulations young man. Keep the tradition going

When The Culotta Show said they were invited to cover the commitment, LSU was a lock so, it wasn’t a surprise to me.

They are covering Jordan Matthews on Monday too and we don’t have a hat on the table. Think they are just picking up Louisiana kids to broadcast.

They aren't really melting. They knew he was all LSU.

Kylin Jackson 6’1” 195 Zachary High
Body: Jackson is built like a large corner back, or the perfect NFL free safety. Muscularly proportioned in the arms & legs, could add 8-10lbs of good weight as he matures & not lose much range. 6’1” 205 ish ideally. I do think he could even be pushed into a LB.
Strengths: The first thing that stands out is fearlessness as a tackler. Very clearly is more comfortable attacking down. You see jackson do just about anything & everything to strike a ball carrier violently, whether that is throwing his body to chop the legs, or lowering his shoulder on an unsuspecting WR. His decisiveness reminds me of Laron Landry. He can really run, a “chaser”, and when he hones on a target, gets to him fast. Kylin also has several highlights blocking kicks & punts; this kid is twitchy & explosive.
Weaknesses: As said, Jackson looks more comfortable coming down than going back. Instinctually has the mindset of a LB’er, making him the ideal fit as a box safety. Ball skills just seem to be ok. From a pure tools standpoint, Jackson is exceptional. But he will need some refinement on his tackling, as he tends to just fling himself at tacklers. It appears he is allowed to freelance a bunch, and so he will also need to develop more of a ‘plan’. This should come with next-level coaching.
Summary: LSU continues to clean up the Boot in impressive fashion, landing what should be a great box safety, or even potential LB. I think he has those traits in them. Jackson reminds me of former Saint Kenny vaccaro. As he matures & harnesses his exceptional athletic tools, Kylin Jackson should become a high energy, hard-hitting fan favorite.

This means he's a safety who will provide help in run support. Nice!
