He'll be hard to handle in the red zone.

You say the same about Maason Smith?

I like his frame. 6'3" with plenty of room to bulk up and not lose a step. Could be a steal

We never know which one of these kids may develop into the next Chase, Jefferson, Clayton, Toliver, Doucet, Wendell Davis, Josh Reed, Kennison, Byrd, LaFell, Beckham Jr., Landry, Chark, Henderson, Randle, Moss. Andy Hamilton, Carlos Carson, Foster, Scott, Brett Bech, Gerald Keigley, Rogie Magee, Todd Kinchen, Abram Booty, Skyler Green, nana: or they may just develop into themselves.

You can always tell when it's a 3 star or lower b/c they don't include the rating in the reports or thread titles. Not a complaint, just an observation. He seems a tad underrated after looking at his film and considering his size.

Masson Smith and Eric Adolsek say hi

Not quantity, but quality from the Bayou

The grades on these recruits are always suspect.

"Four Star" Tayvion Galloway went to camp and after watching him perform, the coaches had a frank conversation with him to cause him to decommit.

Meanwhile, "Three Star" Kylan Billiot attends camp and is so impressive we give him an offer.

I'm not a stars don't matter guy, but a lot of the rankings are owed to good marketing of a recruit and not necessarily indicative of a good career.

And playing receiver. He didn't exactly set the world on fire in 2022.

Maybe his QB was not a star, or the OL was weak. Maybe the system was not built for his success.

But if the coaches want him to be a Tiger, so do I. Welcome Kylan.

New to the game(competitively speaking) and more basketball athlete than football. Not overly joyed or overly disappointed with taking him. Solid take with upside. But like many of our takes this year, a guy you could wait on while things play out.

It does seem like they are playing it very safe this yr.

If you go on 247 and actually look at all the recruits so far it doesn't look like a normal lsu class.

As long as they finish strong with all the louisiana kids and a few other big fish all will be well.
