Rueben Owens 24/7
Recently took a visit to LSU among other schools. The tigers once again seem to be in the thick of this recruitment as he seems to have enjoyed his visit. However even if he does commit soon I don't expect it to be over. I believe this one will go to signing day one way or another.

Pretty embarrassing for Texas considering they recently had him for an unofficial visit last weekend with all the big time recruits there.

Woof lost commits from #1 qb #2 rb and #4 receiver in their classes while having two offensive geniuses as head coaches. I’m sure LSU, A&M, and OU appreciate the negative recruiting material

What's next for 2023 5-star RB Rueben Owens after decommitting from Texas

quote:

His father added the Longhorns are still the leader moving forward.

“We’re just going to open it up and make sure we’re making the right choice for him and making sure he’s making the right choice,” the elder Owens said.

Schools strongly in the mix moving forward also include “Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia and USC," who the Owens will visit June 21, his father said. Owens recently visited Alabama and LSU. Ohio State and Oklahoma are two others in the picture. Holding 25 offers, look for that list to grow with Miami and Wisconsin knocking on the door.

Fire.

This is great news for faulk.

Many of his 7 on 7 teammates will be tigers. He loves the vibe.

The thing i love about him is he can already catch the ball on top of his running.

They need to make it known to him he will be the one running back for next year. Always have a backup plan

Interesting timeline for him this month.

Owens visits LSU on two different occasions, postponing a trip to Bama and staying an extra day in Baton Rouge for one of them

Owens and Arch Manning form a connection at a Texas camp, there’s talk of them wanting to play on the same college team

Arch visits LSU, keeping the planned visit quiet until they are on campus

Rueben Owens backs off commitment to Texas

More and more kids will decommit now that they can officially visit schools. UT still has plenty of time to bring him back.

Nobody considered him to be a strong commitment in the first place (which I’ve posted here before). Easy come, easy go, Zach Evans 2.0
