Round 9: Team Fib^2 selects:

MJ Daniels - Safety Ole Miss

Played Corner primarily in HS, but looks to be shifting to Safety at Ole Miss. Will make a great cap to my starting 4 DBs. High talent level here, played WR and QB in HS as well while also playing baseball. As a sophomore, was moved from QB to CB and picked up 5 INTs in 6 games to close out the year.

Not taking a chance letting him get snagged. Will be interesting to see how the LBing corps shakes out at LSU, but I love how this kid flies around the field and brings bad intentions with it. Reach, sure. Oh well.

Hybrid safety who can play is comfortable in the box or playing centerfield. Where he ends up will be based on how much weight he gains moving forward. His stock was hurt by Covid and he wasn't able to camp much, but I think he is at the top of the Tier 2 safeties in this class.

Stud with tremendous film. Figured I needed to go ahead and grab him given our draft’s penchant for preferring LSU players. Strong and sure handed. Quick, but not fast. Heady player. Expected to bulk up at LSU and potentially play tight end. That’s where I’ll slot him for the moment.
