With the 182nd pick in the 2021 TD RMD, Team GCB selects...

Alijah Clark, CB, Rutgers

High upside kid and highest rated recruit since Schiano’s return to Piscataway. Second ranked player in the state of New Jersey in the 2021 cycle and he’s a difference maker. Turned down several other major offers to stay in state and become the leader of the Scarlet Knights class as their first commitment. On the field, he’s long, lean, and has great hands. Dare I say that he reminds me a little of former Tiger great Corey Webster? Yep. Regardless of the comparisons, the kid can play and may already be the best player in the Rutgers secondary as an early enrollee.

Prophet Brown, USCw CB. He's fast! Super great 100m time as a sophomore.

With the 184th pick of the 2021 RMD, Reda LSU selects...

Moliki Matavao, TE, Oregon!!!!

Consensus top 100 player and a nice target to throw to at 6'6 240. He is a much better pass catcher than he is a blocker, but clearly has the frame to get bigger and block defenders. Had offers from major power 5 schools and happily committed to Oregon

jembeurt selects Lawrence Seymore, OG Miami U

Yes, he’s short. 6’1” is not the optimal height for a P5 OLman. However, this kid is very good and would be ranked much higher if he was even just 6’3”. However, to help that, he will be moving to guard. The cool thing about him is that he’s been committed since March… OF 2018!!! I’m sure Miami would’ve hoped he grown a bit taller sense, but they did everything they could to hold onto his commitment. They even excepted a commitment by his younger brother who is a 2023 recruit. He may not play this year, but he’ll start soon enough.

Team sportsfan selects Jayden Ballard - WR Ohio State

Never thought I would be getting a top 100 player this late, but I'll take it. Ballard is a smooth route runner with very soft hands. He needs to add a little bulk and improve his physical game, but he has a huge ceiling. He will have his work cut out for him getting early playing time because OSU brought in a lot of high level WRs. But at this stage in the draft, he was just too good to pass on.

Round 8: Team Fib^2 selects:

Devonta Smith - DB Alabama

With that name, he's got some massive shoes to fill in Tuscaloosa, but this kid is a baller. Decent 100M and 200M times in track, but on the football field definitely shines better. Good game speed, nose for the ball, and gave up zero completions in his senior year of HS. Originally committed to tOSU, Bama made a nice play to steal this young man.
