Losing on Sospher might be a blessing.

We can land five of the top 15 DL in 2020 and will be set for a while.

Roy and Jackson are committed.

Guillory and Barnard are CB’d to LSU.

CEO will have to put in some work on McKinley Jackson but the option is there.

Maybe we flip someone due to our depth chart.

Keeping Roy and landing Guillory is a big priority. Jackson seems to have the frame and footwork to be an OT. Branard Wright and McKinley Jackson should be big priorities as well. I could even see us signing a juco DT for depth in the 2020 season.

Guillory's not committed. He is CB's by 4 analysts, but not committed.
I want all 3 then the rest is gravy.

Relative to Jackson, you look at his activities on 247 and he doesn’t appear to have anything going on with us for an extended time.

Correct but we got Roy and he is tops in the state! We need at least 4-5 DE types in 2020

Plus the transfer portal to gain experience after we get some of these.

Hopefully one or more can be early enrollees to get on campus to allow early contribution in 2020 season due the attrition we will see after 2019 season.

Which of these has the Moses-Sophsher-Collins DNA? Who might play us for the attention?

What of Jalen Lee and Keanen Caldwell?
DD has them rated in his top twenty.

McKinley Jackson would be a waste of recruiting resources imo.

LSU needs to cast a national net and be more aware of who Bama is targeting.

LSU can’t afford to go head to head as much with Bama at that position outside of in state kids.

It's the reason he decommitted supposedly in the first place, he has a coach pushing him heavily to Bama

Jackson’s coach is a huge Bama fan and posts on the Bama 247 message board. He said early on O was all over him which is why he committed. Then he has basically said he is pushing Bama which is why Jackson decommitted.

I think if they miss on Jackson (McKinley), they should offer one or both.

Lee has been offered. Last week.

Guillory, Roy, Jackson (depending on the OL grouo and where he fits best) Lee

Thats a great starting base. Honestly not knowing much about them (havent done film for 20 yet) im not sure what positions they best fit but theyrr instate and we need big numbers.

Land those 4 and cast a wide net early to get in in as many fits as possible. Of course you push for Jackson but buyers beware. Hes already essentially part of the Bama group and as weve seen MS kids are strange with their recruitments. Recruit him hard but dont count on him.

We need 5 minimum(true DL not scheme OLBs) and should take up to 8 if we can fit them. Im ok sacrificing numbers elewhere(other than OL) to make it work.

Jackson is not coming here. Like the recruit from Amite, follow his actions. Clearly, the evil empire is beating us soundly in recruiting defensive lineman. A new strategy is needed.

Roy is the real deal. He dominated at the last 5 star camp, just blew up everyone and he’s moving up in ratings! He’s committed so we off to a good start
