Sorry if already talked about but who are some of the players to look for in 2019? I hear this year is loaded and if so would it be considered balanced or do we need to go out-of-state?

There’s a couple elite RBs we are either favored for or leaning towards us

RB: Tyrion Daivs #198 from Baton Rouge is already committed. Deondrick Glass #131 from Katy, TX and John Emery who is #84 from Destrehan are considered LSU favorites right now, and the school also has a shot at Noah Cain who is #21 from IMG and Denton, TX.

Noah Cain is a possibility for us. 5 star runningback. Ishmael Sopsher is an in state defensive tackle who is the number 2 overall player in the country. The number 1 overall player in the country is a kid named Kayvon Thibodeaux. He lives in Cali but is from Louisiana obviously and even has LSU picks for his crystal ball. There's a chance for the 2019 class to be a top 5 class and if it goes our way it could be a top 3 class.

There's a chance that LSU gets the top two players in this class. If that doesn't tell someone that the 19 class could be special nothing will.

If LSU somehow manages to go 10-2 against that hellacious schedule next year, the 2019 class will be loaded. We fall to 7-5 or 8-4 and we'll miss on some guys we should have gotten.

Thanks, do we have a legit chance with the kids from Kentwood or Amite? I kinda scratch them off lol.

The #1 player in the nation (Kayvon Thibodeaux) is considering us. It will be hard to pry him from the west coast but he has loved his visits here. His family is also from Louisiana but he says that wont affect his recruitment.

I think so, Sopsher is a must get and I think he likes what he sees from LSU so far. I’m a huge fan of Devante Lee bc of his size. And I think Tre Palmer from Kentwood is a fan of the Tigers.

If we don't get top 5 or top 3 in 2019 we never will.

It will be difficult, but I think we sign Trey Palmer, Devonta Lee, and Ishmael Sopsher in the end.

Thibodeaux looks like a beast on film. Good bend, gets around the edge and finishes. Did he ever play ball in Louisiana or grew up a Cali kid?

The '19 class will ultimately make or break Orgeron here at LSU. He's had an up and down first year, but the '19 class is loaded in state. Our top competition (Alabama, Florida, A&M, and Auburn) are all now loaded with coaches who have had success in recruiting players from LA. If those teams get stronger by grabbing elite Louisiana kids, it will spell doom for Orgeron.

Let's hope he's the recruiting Ace he's supposed to be.
