Could play LB in the 3-4.
I never understand this quote if a kid has played as a d-lineman his entire career in High School how does this translate to him being good/great in college? I would think it would take a few years to learn like beckworth correct?Next year we will be really young at the LB position.

quote:Seriously doubt this kid ever lines up at linebacker. 6'5 255 already. Could add another 30/40lbs easy.

That's awesome! That high school is a football powerhouse around here and are always well coached. Can't wait to go watch a few of their games to see what this young man is all about. I'm glad to see us recruiting this area hard because there are good recruits in this region. The OL we pulled out of Bay Minette last year will do good for us in a few years. He was only a 3* recruit but that young fellow has so much upside and will only get better once he's been developed some.

That's why he likes it, otherwise he'd be at his alma mater
So much dumb. If we pay a player, I'm relatively sure it won't be an alumni's son. Pretty easy to get caught, don't you think?
Also, he doesn't have an alma mater yet. You know, since he's not in college yet.
Not all kids want to follow in a STEP dad's shoes

In a 3-4, you have 4 lb'ers and the 2 that are inside are big physical run stoppers, not sideline to sideline guys

Why did he choose the good guys over Alabama and Auburn? Just not used to getting a player Bama wants from their state. Coach D Craig is bringing it

Pretty sure he was talking about Craig

not always. you have to have at least one but donnie edwards TORE shite up at like 225 lbs in the NFL inside in a 3-4

Most "tweener" high school DE are converted to LB in a 3-4. St Nick has always done this.

Glad to have him on board Geaux Tigers
