It sounds like he's an early favorite to take Glenn's place in Mainieri's dog house.

The Jordan twins from Barbe will be here for sure!

These two will give us instant offense. Bryce just broke a national record for getting hit by pitches, and is very close to the school record for OBP. Both of them can mash!

Can any of you Lake Chuck guys give any info on the guy from Sulphur that recently de-committed. I think he's a pitcher in the '15 class.

What are the chances Deichmann and Marshall make it to campus? Would fap if they did

The Jordan twins aren't even the best from the state though...

Wasn't happy with the money he was getting from LSU, so Kale Breaux de-committed. Big loss for LSU, but I think that Kale needs to reconsider. There's every likelihood that he'll be successful at LSU. Why would he want to pass up that opportunity to be a well known LSU athlete over a couple grand? He's tremendous athlete and competitor though.

Makes sense. And until the scholarship limit is raised, issues like this will happen.

By looking at that list of commits, every guy is 6'2 or taller except the Jordan twins and we have about 4 pitchers that are in the 99th percentile in the class. I think this class is stacked and hope we can hold on to it.

I guess Van Horn was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Greg Deichmann Perfect Game profile
Position: IF
Height: 6-2
Weight: 185
Bats/Throws: L-R
Birthdate: May 31, 1995
High School: Brother Martin
City, State: Metairie, La.
Travel Team: Marucci Elite
Commitment: Louisiana State
Projected Draft Round: 1S-2
The key as a scout with Greg Deichmann, after watching him for three years, is to concentrate on the things that he does very well instead of the things that he doesn’t do well yet. I don’t believe that everyone in the scouting community has done that with the lefthanded hitting Louisiana infielder, however.
Deichmann currently ranks 19th in the Perfect Game Class of 2014 rankings, and has been higher, before every righthanded pitching prospect in the upper echelons of the class decided to start throwing 95 plus mph late in the summer and into the fall. We’ve seen Deichmann play as much as any player in the class, as he’s attended numerous major PG showcases, participated in three WWBA World Championships, done the major non-Perfect Game summer circuit events and played in the 2013 Perfect Game All-American Classic. The notes in the PG database would fill up a story length page such as this.

I'll bump!
I don't post much on RB. I watched Bobby Bradley play this weekend in Mississippi playoffs. This kid is exceptional. He hit a double off the wall in his first at bat and a two-run homer (not sure the ball has landed yet) in his next appearance. They intentionally walked him the rest of the game.
Kid is big, strong and very athletic. Should be a great tiger!

He visited Mississippi State this weekend and committed today.

Deichmann isn't coming to LSU. Would be awesome if he did though.
