That's not bad at all then. Won't lose any eligibility while going there and still be a January enrollee. Wouldn't have played this year anyway

he was likely to RS anyway wasn't he?.... so now he can play, not lose eligibility, and if for some reason he isn't as good as we thought (supposedly his HS stats were meh bc of a bad team) then we don't have to take him.

If all he needs is a test score, why is he going to school at all?

I think there will be one WR from this class that will see some time so he would have been in that competition, but I think Dural will, and would have, garnered that spot.

I'm not sure if he loses any eligibility or if he will have 4 to play 4 once he comes in. I think Miles still takes him because he will be an early enrollee and I think he has the talent to do well on the college level

Someone in another thread said Avery would be in camp per Les Miles press release. That's why this caught me off guard

I don't see anything really negative in this at all. I seriously doubt he would have done anything this Fall except redshirt or waste a year so now he'll get some real PT playing prep ball and show up next Fall.

I dont think his question was ever talent, its always been motivation.

Agree as well.

Landry, OBJ, Shep, Boone, Wright, Paul Turner. Do we need 7?

Also, and don't kill the messenger, but I'm hearing AJ will come in January, but will be a SOPHOMORE next year as far as football is concerned. He'll be playing at Hargrave, and I'm hearing it's gonna count as his freshman year of eligibility. But he will still count back to the class of 2012. TIFWIW...just what I'm hearing.

Hargrave does not count against college eligibility in that regard. All it does is remove their redshirt year, so he will have 4 to play 4 I think

I think this has more to do with the hard 25 than anything else. Again, I don't know for sure, but that's what I'm hearing...that he would come in next season as a sophomore. Seems wrong, but with the new rules, I dunno.
