Ricardo is an elite athlete and will be a stud at the next level.

Guess he may still change his mind again, but if he doesn't, thats 1 in state miss by TJ, needs to get the next one

Ill go ahead and call it a big loss. The guy is the 37th rated player in the nation and his senior year play will only improve that ranking.

Is Gathers considered a one and done?
I'd really rather LSU recruit a team full of Hickeys, Warrens and Hamiltons. Decent, but not great, college players that will be here 3 years, at bare minimum.

That's good to hear. Although, it still looks bad on Trent not being able to get him.

Wow, another recruit (regardless of sport) that strings us along.

A team full of warrens, hickeys, and hamiltons get you ano avg to bad SEC team.
We need some talent. Brandon Bass,Big Baby,Marcus Thorton,Tyrus Thomas,Tazmin Mitchell.....talent

Unless he has some offensive skillset, that is not possible.

His future at LSU depends on having something coming in when Hamilton (and O'Bryant) leave.
He may not be around at that point.

Man this hurts. The difference between a top 25 team contending for an sec title and a bubble team IMO. Trent better learn how to recruit local talent or he's toast. Can't let these guys get away.
Lol at "bubble" team. We need luck to be an NIT team.

As of right now Eddie Ludwig and Jalen Courtney are our only backup bigs for next year, neither of them would be described as muscle in the paint(Gathers would). If JOB has a good year next year we could lose him in addition to Ludwig and Hamilton. So it's a really big deal actually.

That's even funnier. Gathers is solid but with or without him this team is not contending for an SEC title next year or even the tourney.
I wish we were better but we aint.

When RA played John Curtis, M. Morgan(LSU commit and Dillon Gordon(LSU football commit) shut him down. He was like 6 for 25 at the free throw line. RA play John Curtis Friday at RA. We'll see what he does.
Also check the link out about RA

He can't have an off game?

What does that have to do with anything?

He has not been playing well not just this game.

Again, I think LSU needs to set their sights on being the best team in the West.... i.e. being Mississippi State.
Since '93, (when LSU went to shite), State is the third best team in the conference. They've had Dampier in the NBA, and then a few NBA fringe players (Dontae Jones, Mario Austion, Derrick Zimmerman, Jarvis Varnado types). Every thing else has been 3+ year guys. Moultrie is their second bonafide NBA guy in that time frame.
We need to stop with the scratch off tickets (having 4 NBA players and 40 Quintin Thorntons and Terry Martins over a four year stretch), and start getting 8-10 capable players EVERY year, where if you DO get a big talent, you can make a run.

Why would anyone pick LSU over Baylor at this point.
