Not sure why any top receiver wouldn’t want Nuss throwing them the ball.

But is he so much better that he’s worth getting into a bidding war with Texas, Miami, and Ole Miss? There are other positions of greater need.

I would argue paying this guy over a million is worth it. He’s a number 1 receiver that would lift our offense from good to great. Right now there’s no receivers with first round talent on our offense. He would become the focal point and allow all our other receivers to play their roles.

I actually could see him going to Texas. I don't know how much of a bidding war it will be but I believe in him as an explosive wr.

I just view that as more of a “nice to have” than a “must have”. Maybe he is really that much of a difference maker, but if they can’t put together an OL to give Nuss time to get it to him, it won’t matter much. On defense, safety and edge are bigger concerns. If they can pay Singleton what he will command and still adequately address those other concerns, great. I just see those other needs as more pressing.

They better get a starting safety in here. Not a former starter who lost his job to someone better than him. Or a guy who's coming off of a season ending injury. That kind of shite just isn't going to cut it
