We need dudes there and Leigh will just be a freshman next year anyways, more than likely wont be ready to really contribute.

Remember that the one-time waiver is coming in 2021. Thet means we could get a kid with experience and 3 years left to play who will be immediately eligible. If we have any slots left open, watch for that.

Some of our fans are retards. Like our staff, collegiate sports and the NFL grade on team success and not individual success. They don’t grade on team success. They grade on individual success.

Was the correct reads made, how many pancakes, how many penalties, was his technique sound and they also look to see who was playing against them. If it was another future NFL guy or a scheme LSU isn’t familiar with. Those things matter when you’re grading someone. Are they losing because of their own mistakes or are they losing because the other guy is really good also or are they losing because they aren’t familiar with what the other guy is doing. Are they able to correct those mistakes during the game and into the next. They did all this and more. That’s why they won that award. And LSU was very deep last year on the OL.

We lost many players to injury and never really missed a beat. The entire offense trusted one another and that’s why they were so darn good. Did it have to do with Burrow being a great player? Of course it did and was also because Burrow was a great leader. Our scheme with the talent was what led to quick throws not just Burrow. Our WRs were wide open almost every down. There’s a reason for that. They knew how to attack coverage and Burrow knew how to find them. It wasn’t just one thing or two things. The entire offense was great at what they did. Our TEs blocked just as well as caught passes. Same with our RB. Our WRs blocked just a well as caught passes too.

It was a culture within the offense. The defense played well enough in the games that mattered. They played very average in the rest of the games but it didn’t matter because we scored so easily. From A&M on our defense played great and sometimes elite. With what we lost due to these circumstances, it isn’t a wonder why we played so poorly. They will get it back together. But yes LSU must recruit OL better as well as the DL. Idk maybe we do need another OL coach who can recruit better but there’s no way I can say Pelini sucks after watching this years team. I’m not sure how many coaches would have faired any better. I think long term LSU will need to look for younger more aggressive types that can both coach their butts off and recruit but I can’t say Pelini wouldn’t improve this defense given another year of actual coaching. Real practices and what not. I think he would drastically improve our defense. They just need time.

Those blaming Cregg for not landing Leigh are wrong.

First of all, if O assigned Cregg the heavy lifting in Leigh's recruitment then it was a major screw up. O is our best recruiter/closer and Leigh should have been prioritized as our most important recruit. O should have been his primary recruiter and stuck on him like his 42 million dollar contract depended on it.

Secondly, it wasnt Cregg who went on Fox News praising a president that many of the players think is racist. It wasnt Cregg's fault O didnt have a read on his own locker room.

Third, it wasnt Cregg who violated Title IX protocol.

Fourth, Cregg didnt have anything to do with Covid or opt outs. It wasnt Cregg's fault that LSU didnt handle Covid as well as other schools.

Last, it wasnt Cregg who forced a switch to the 3-4 in a year with no spring ball and limited practice time.

I assume the narrative out of football operations in that this is on Cregg due to Vol saying he should be fired. If you believe he has sources then its clear Cregg is being made the scapegoat by whoever is giving Vol his info. Once again O is throwing someone under the bus when most of the blame lies at his doorstep.

Yeah I really don’t see how it’s Cregg’s fault. We had Leigh’s family looking for a place to live down here until all of the rape allegations came to light.

Any parent with morals would be turned away by that.

Coach O shouldnt have brought the politics into it, gotta be smarter than that, but for the love of.god STFU about the President being racist. Its not nor has it ever been true. And if you voted for the other guy, do your research. You will find plenty of racist things about him!

If you don’t want to put all of the blame for recruiting on Cregg, ok. There are others involved in that process. But you know what we CAN fire him for? Uneven player development, inconsistency and worse than average attrition.

The O Line was inconsistent in 2018 and in early 2019. It’s been even worse this year, with two games where they got pushed around for the entire contest and a couple of other where they had issues. We have a couple of guys who should be anchors in Hines and Deculus regress BADLY this season when we needed them to step up.

We’ve had a revolving door out of the program, as well. You expect to lose a few upperclassmen and grad transfers who aren’t going to see the field, but somethings up when underclassmen are transferring out on you.

If you KNOW you can upgrade, this is enough to fire Cregg over.

This is not the board for this. Take your opinion to the Election board where you can present "your facts" and be debated.

No. It’s O’s fault for saying the president is doing a good job with the COVID situation.

I am going to say they need to try Kevin Mawae at this point. But I don't think he would leave Herm at this point.

I both agree and disagree with this. Ultimately this falls on O, yes agreed 100% and there’s no excuses for where he is the program and the shite storm surrounding it. However, Cregg cannot continue to get a free pass with recruiting. He is decent at best with the coaching aspect (and don’t give me that trophy bullshite from last year because that was because Joe Burrow was insane in moving a pocket and avoiding pressure). It’s time we as a blue blood started getting blue blood level OTs
