We need more 190s!
The naming conventions are really lame here.

Oak Harbor exit closed, no turnaround. If you go that far you've gotta go over the bridge to get back. No warning signs posted.

Still no power east of Hwy 59. Anyone around me up yet? Seems like mostly Covington and western Mandeville.

Anyone near arrowwood estates off dog pound? Supposedly the lake is rising and close to the homes. Have a friend that lives there but can't get in touch.

Lake Arrowood is pretty high. Ran down Choctaw and the two houses in the corner turn have water about 2' below the slab. All the others are higher.
The lake has overflowed onto Pine Oak Dr and probably rolling down the powerlines to the river.

Thanks. He lives about the middle of Choctaw and I think it does get much higher where he is. Thanks again for the update.

Weaver,
Quail Creek is Cleco.
By the way part of the remaining unused spans under the Causeway are now gone. These are the ones that were left after Katrina that were then secured with 1" cabling. Gone.
This morning I used the Twin Spans. Debris all over the place but what amazed me was how much water was around the Toyota dealership. Truly astonishing.
CHARTER, anyone heard how long until it is restored. LSU plays Saturday.

Charter was good to go until this morning... stayed up through the whole storm.
My guess is that they ran out of fuel in generators to keep the service running at the head end.
