Live interviews with rescuees, police chief,

something about a nursing home (along a RR track) now being evacuated.

Waters not receding, still raining.

Haven't read the past couple pages so I'm not sure if some of this was posted...

-Hwy 22 is closed just past Francos at Penns Chapel.
-Hwy 21 is closed where 21/1077 meet.
-Very large tree on 1077 w/downed power lines so be careful
-Gas station at 1077/I12 has gas
-Blue Harbor Shell in Mandeville has gas
-Traffic on I12 eastbound between 1077 and 190 is miserable
-The lakefront still has water out to Monroe street. Still about chest high on the lakefront. It has gone down 18-24inches since its highest point (pretty easy to see the water line on the buildings)

I fared very well. I went to my parents house across town in Beau Chene - we didn't lose power until last night which was very nice. I came back to my house this morning off of 59, everything was fine. As I was moving stuff around, my power came back on so I am very excited. Only 1 night w/o power

Did yall do alright in BR?

another thing do you think it would be quicker to go to BR (depending on traffic situations) by going 190 to robert to 10 or going down 190 through covington and get on 10?

Here's a pic from a buddy who lives in Eden Isles on Pebble Beach Rd (almost as far north and west in Eden Isles as you can get)

His dock usually sits about 2-3 feet off the water. This was taken at 7:30 this morning. He said the water was lower than it was when he checked it before going to bed last night.

No problem, actually I think you are correct. Just talked to my brother and he said he saw cars getting on and off the causeway. The sign at the causeway still says closed though and so does the website, guess they never changed it yet.

The pumps over by oak harbor are saving our asses. The service road with the dealerships have some cars with water up to the steering wheels.

Causeway is definitely open, I just crossed. The signs still say bridge closed but it's not. Hopefully they dont close it again because I don't feel like going around on my way back
