Brown out then power loss for a few Mins at gardere but it's back. . Just herd a nasty hum that you get when something blows.

A ton of siding blew off of my parents home in Walden and water is pouring into the attic, shite is not good. They still have power FWIW.

I think I know what you mean. I don't know if I'd call it a moan, but it's hard to describe. It's loud and eerie is what it is. It is a sound that transformer make when they are malfunctioning due to a power surge I think. It's different when they actually blow, that's a loud crack like thunder. But I heard the loud 'moaning sound here in Orlando when Charley roared through as power was going out all over. It was cool, scary and weird all at the same time.

I'm down the street from Highland and Staring and I haven't even see a flicker. Then again, they did just do a lot of work on the new power lines down Staring

No. I have friends who live on Oakley. They called to tell me power went out at their house. The Entergy website shows 983 customers are affected by the outage in Tara.
