The 7pm wx balloon data from New Orleans is in. Atmosphere saturated all the way up to 20,000 feet - ripe for extreme rainfall. #Isaac

Isaac looks pretty good on radar.

It looks more ragged on the backside just because it's hard for the radar to get through the core of the storm due to the density of the storm. There's heavy rain there. We just can't see it.

I've yet to see any of these TWC wind buoy videos reach the 80mph sustained projections they say the hurricane is. I think they're still effing with us. Hell, the one next to the eye barely made 60mph.

It's been discussed ad nauseum. These are two completely different storms. They aren't even moving in the same direction upon touching land.
