it sounds like about half of BR has no power. The wind and rain is really starting to pick up in jackson now

Well it looks like Baton Rouge is gonna get out of this with minimal damage. That's great. I was worried it might be another Gustav but that's not the case. Tomorrow afternoon Entergy can start doing work. Saturday night football. Sounds good.

I might have been VERY drunk for the majority of this storm but it's never really seemed that bad. How long until the rain is over?

Yup. I live in Jackson and went to pick up food about an hour ago. Blowing rain and small gusts are more prevalent.
