re: JMU Softball only holds 500?

James Madison University Softball and Baseball reside in Veterans Memorial Park, located adjacent to Memorial Hall at the intersection of Cantrell Avenue and South High Street. The complex, which opened in March of 2010, holds separate venues for both sports a seating capacity of 500 for softball a...

re: Jarvis freaking Landry!

Posted by sugarlandtigah on 10/25/15 at 1:08 pm
Landry finally being used in a way that makes the most of his talent. Philbin never saw the potential in Landry and harped repeatedly during the pre-season of Landry's rookie year about his lack of route running skills. (Really?). Now that he is gone the Dolphins will use him as he should be used...
Winners play and losers play. Loser of loser/loser is out. Winner of loser/loser plays loser of winner/winner. Winner of that game plays winner of winner/winner. Same two teams play again if winner of winner/winner loses....

Why do our fastest player on Special Teams insist on running past the punt receiver? You are taught since Pee Wee football to break down, chop your steps and stay in front of the returner, under control, in order to make a tackle. These guys want to deliver the big shot instead of doing it correct...

Guess Saban didn't see the OBJ return of the missed field gaol from a few weeks ago... :spank:...
People, an article in the New York Times, a paper that is not fit to be used as arse wipe, should have less than nothing to do with anyone's opinion about anything related to LSU. The only surprise here is that this piece of journalistic filth took a few minutes off of their continuous support of O...
Ritter is a tool and a blind one at that. Calling Magee for a block below the knees that did not happen and failing to see what the ATM receivers are doing on every play takes a special talent. I hope that ATM gets so desperate that they resort to more blatant actions that even "Ole Bug Eye" Ritte...
Misread the heading, thought it said Obama coming to Baton Rouge. Major WTF moment followed by thoughts of massive quantity of piss filled balloons. Calmed down and reread the heading. ...
I wonder how thrilled Dennis Dodd would be if someone were to investigate his background and attach a list of any legal problems he has had to every article he submits for publication. When was the last time you saw an article from a non-LSU source that did not mention his probation and parking lot...

Expanded Playbook

Posted by sugarlandtigah on 9/25/13 at 10:32 am
Will this be the game that the expanded playbook sees the light of day? For many years we have discussed the possible existence of the "secret" playbook that will transform the offense and make it less predictable than it has been in the past. ...

The big problem with yellow journalism is that the damage is done even if totally fabricated. There will never be a retraction unless legal action is taken to recover damages. SI should be taken to court and made to pay heavily if this story is a fabrication. The half truth has become the new...

re: Speed

Speed does little on kick coverage if you run past the return man as LSU seems to do on too many occasions. There needs to be a transition from the full speed sprint down the field in a controlled manner to allow the defenders to limit the returner's options on where to go and bring him down or for...

My son lives on Burbank .5 miles off campus and has not lost power yet......
The point to consider about JJ is that he is comming off a really good performance that showed him what can happen when you throw the ball on time. This concept has seemed to be too difficult for him to grasp until now probably due to the pick six fiasco of J. Lee's first season. With some decent ...
UAB has big tall receivers which made a big difference in last weeks game. UAB also has a QB that can get the ball to the receivers. It makes a huge difference when you not only have something but also have the skill set to use it!...
