I thought the Pat Shingleton and the OT Hurricane Elitist Club declared everything would be all over with at this point?
I thought for sure I'd wake up this morning and check TWC to find this bastard half way to Arkansas and a tropical depression.

Whoever said that isn't too bright. It wasn't hitting land until around 2 am last night. I figured sometime today would be the worst.
I really think it was one of the weather people .. can't remember if it was local or National. They were wrong.

I grew up on the East side of the river in Ouachita Parish. All of my family and close friends are there. I wanted to ease over on Friday and stay the weekend to dove hunt. That's now gone to shite.

there is a little bitch of a tree hanging on for dear life in my front lawn. I am debating going outside and knocking it down myself so the wind doesn't blow it straight through my house
