I don't know where Braithwate is but it had a levee failure and there are some people with 9 feet of water in their homes.

That's in plaquemines parish.

Just woke up. Were this thing is going now? Radar shows that it is moving more west then north. I just don't know.
I did loose power around 10:45 last night, but one call and they had me back on 1/2 hour later.

I'd love to see the animation of his track once he's done. He is literally fricking the coast.

Just woke up in uptown Nola. Still have power. I can't believe it. It's nice to see Isaac barely moved. a-hole

Damn it. Lost my grill cover. Apparently some stones and a bungee couldn't hold it down.

Just below Bellchase, about 15 -20 miles or so down Hmy23. The bad thing is that there is NO high ground other then the Mississippi levee. This is Not good and I hope those people have there boats ready. They just reported that they have 12' of water and trying to send in people to help. I have a family member that lives there and don't know if they left.

I'm with the other guy. My house is getting hammered, power is out and I'm on generator power and things are smashing into the front of the house but it's too dangerous to check it right now. Quit joking about this thing.

You are right. I'm a bit shocked and just woke up. I was thinking of Homeplace for some reason.

Jim Cantore almost just literally flew away on Canal Street.
Posted on 8/29/12 at 4:44 am to Teddy Ruxpin
Cantore's keeping me glued to the TV. There's gotta be a 2x4 or a road sign gonna blow in there and smack him in the noggin.
