My cat won't go outside unless the SO or I are outside as well. (Then again she has no front claws--she was declawed when I got her, I wouldn't do that to an animal--so I can't blame her.)

My prior cat would go outside in anything. And would scream until you let her. Which means I had to follow her (full-blood Persian perfect for catnapping, no way I'd let her go outside alone).

I've been picking my dog up and throwing him out the door, then dragging him to the grass

My 6mo old German Shephard has gone out 3x today in 40+ mph sustained, 60+ gusts.

Boy was confused about the wind at first, but loves water (and biting stuff).

Lab will not get out of the lake when it is time to go, will lay in the first puddle she sees when she gets tired playing fetch, will snap at the water coming out of the hose when I water the garden, but will not go outside to pee when it is raining.

Mine ran under the bamboo to take her dump out of the rain. Just as she started a gust shook all the water down on her from the bamboo. She bolted for the porch and pissed right there we still love her :)

Well Jones and I both despise children, so I'd be okay with that

But they're actually very calm and loving animals.

My dog plays in puddles and loves the rain but hates baths. She sits at the door when she wants out. Been fine and dandy for her.
