I do not understand putting chemicals in your home. I like to breathe the cleanest air possible.

We got ourselves one of these for Christmas and our house smells like a nice hotel... love it. Get comments every time we have people over.
We have the "Westin" scent.... they call it Day Dream

can be installed into the ducting of your HVAC system.
Don’t do this. If it’s essential oils, it will eventually begin to discolor the paint near your registers. If it’s a chemical based scent, it will likely reduce your coil life.
I dab a little essential oil on the outward facing cardboard portion of my intake filters and works well for like a day and I've never seen negative side effects in the 10+ years I've done it.
We do mild scents and not a lot, but with a dog and little kids, if we're having company at night I'll put a couple dabs on it in the morning so it's barely there when company arrives.
Also, the best way to make the house smell good outside of just deep cleaning:
- Dig dutch oven (we have a nice look le creuset)
- Add a lot of water, a bunch of cinnamon sticks, 3 lemons sliced up, and 4-5 sprigs of rosemary from the yard
- Heat on medium until steaming, turn down to low
House smells like a Williams Sonoma.

We have the Clearly Better Scent brand. CB-400. I really like it but the scents can be pricey. This brand does the scents too and I pay $100 to refill the bottle. How fast it goes just depends on how much I use it depending on whats going on. I did not want mine hooked to duct work because then the fan has to run at the same time the scent is diffused. I also just didn’t want to mess anything up.
We don’t use ours daily. More so for right after cleaning the house, having company over, etc.

I've been using a system that releases sandalwood scents, known for being sweet, creamy, and relaxing. It doesn't connect to the HVAC but works great through oils. It’s cost-effective and creates a calming environment in my home. If you're interested in exploring sandalwood's profile, check out https://nothingbutscents.com/blogs/wellness-spirituality/scent-profiles-what-does-sandalwood-smell-like. It dives deep into its benefits.

How many does she have and how big is your house? I looked into those but had trouble figuring how much area they can cover
We have two in a 950 SF house and it covers everything.

The wife and I stayed at the Wynn in Vegas recently. Housekeeping scents the room and they leave samples of the spray for you to take. We bought a diffuser with the scent from the gift shop and it makes our house smell amazing. Not overpowering, just a little something to freshen it up.

I put bacon grease in my wife's (no pics) potpourri warmer once. House smelled amazing but she was pissed.

Anyone have experience with these systems? Basically they are oil based cold diffusers that say they can scent an entire home or multiple rooms, etc. You can buy them to cover so much square feet.
I would be very careful with that stuff, especially if you have pets. Sucks to get a $400 vet bill when one starts having a respiratory response caused by mild irritation because something was sprayed around the house. Better off just cleaning more often than covering up your funky arse.
