Starting to follow the Randy Lemmon guide this year (thanks H&G board).
Wanted to see what is the go to fertilizer on the board that has seemed to yield the best results.

I must have missed the post regarding the "Randy Lemmon Guide". Thanks for mentioning that. That's something I've been wanting to find for some time now. Especially since it mentions bermuda grass lawns as well.

Yeah I googled it after I saw the mention and I went to his site. I'm gonna print out that refrigerator reminder schedule and post it on my work table in the garage.
If this works for the backyard I'm gonna be canceling my service for the front yard (backyard is not serviced...so I can learn without the HOA crawling up my arse).

Does anyone know of a similar southern lawn/Louisiana schedule for centipede?
Thanks in advance.

I see you are on the Northshore (St Tammany)? This looks like it's targeted for TX areas... just wanted to confirm your location and that it's been working out for you.

For bermuda 33-3-6 for st aug/centipede 16-0-8 or 25-3-5

Correct, I'm in St. Tammany and use this schedule, its worked out fine so far.
I put out Barricade Pre-Emergent this week before the rain, will put out the fertilizer above in about 2 weeks if the weather stays warm. Hit it again with pre-emerge and same fertilizer late June, then one more time in late October with pre-emerge and a Winterizer version of 15-5-10

I've used this on my Zoysia yard the last 2 years and have been happy with it.
I assume this would be fine to use in South Louisiana?

Ya’ll overthinking this big time. If you have Bermuda in HSV, just put down milo at double the bag rate every month and you’re grass will be blue green.

And unfortunately will smell like a sewer... I think milorganite is cool as hell but everyone else I know finds the smell very powerful.

I would not do this. Your phosphorus levels are going to go thru the roof, and you aren't providing any Potassium.

Doc has a product for you that also has biochar :)

But that only takes care of the bermuda. I also need the schedule for pre-emergents and other herbicides/fungicides. Damn sod was full of junk so I gotta fix what the builder did. Can't pull up the sod or the HOA has a conniption fit.

You in Huntsville? If so, go to SiteOne Landscape Supply LINK and they will have a nice 1 page 8 1/2 x 11 colored coded Turf Maintenance calendar for St Augustine & Centipede, and Bermudagrass & Zoysia. It will have a fertilization, pre-emergent, insecticide, fungicide schedule. They give them away at the counter where you check out. I have the “Louisiana” calendar next to me, I’m sure they do one for Alabama.
Just use it as a general guide supplemented with the turf maintenance calendars posted on the Auburn University Alabama Cooperative Extension Service website.

That would cost a small fortune.
