Had a bunch of clovers in my front yard. So I got one of those weed killers that hooks up to your hose. It said that it was safe with centipede grass but now I have big dead brown patches. What to do?

How big? I'd probably just let the centipede run and fill in those areas. We havent even begun the growing season yet.

If the areas are huge, sod.

Big no no to use weed killer while grass is coming out of dormancy.

I use Ortho Weed Be Gone on my centipede grass and haven’t had any issues. It knocks the hell out of clovers.

There is 1000% nothing wrong with weed control when lawns are breaking dormancy.

If it gets a lot of sun, overseed with Bermuda. I've had two centipede lawns, they both sucked. If centipede gets any traffic whatsoever, it will not recover fast enough and you will have "paths" were kids and pets walk and play. Centipede grows so slowly it doesn't recover from injury well. Also, weed control can be a problem, whereas MSMA is a one-shop stop for Bermuda weed control. Additionally, if you want your Bermuda yard to "pop" (green up, grow like crazy and look healthy), put a bag of 13-13-13 out before a rain.

Make sure those brown patches weren't weeds to begin with.

Used Image in the same form last weekend and this past weekend everything not centipede was brown/yellow. I was surprised that there were that many weeds growing into the grass, but it was all weeds.

Did you think there was healthy turf hiding under all the clover? Just waiting to be exposed?

That's reallllllly stretching it. There are grassy weeds, broadleaf weeds, and sedges... MSMA only kills one of those three (grassy weeds) really well.

*even though yellow nutsedge is on the label, MSMA is far surpassed by products such as sulfosulfuron for sedge control.

i recently bought this for my Bermuda. What ratio do you suggest? I’m scared shitless I’m going to mix it too rich and nuke my front lawn, and the internet has not been much help

I don't know much about centipede, but would I will say is stay out of the big box stores for weed killers. Learn the chemicals you need for the things you want to accomplish in your yard. It's better to educate yourself on chemicals then to rely on those bottles at the stores.
