Should I get one for the home? Is it a good investment toward not getting sick?

Has made a big difference for us and our home. Asides from the air smelling great all the time, it reduces the amount of dusting we have to do.

I have a couple Austin Air purifiers. They've got HEPA and charcoal filters. They were pricey. I can definitely smell other odors when I dont run them.

Is there one that is practically silent when running? We have cats. They shed a lot.

We have one in each of the kids bedroom. You’ll be surprised at how much dust and dirt get into those filters. Been meaning to get one for the master bedroom. Our dogs sleep in the master so I’m sure our air is absolutely filthy

I had one and noticed the filter doesn't last as long as they claim. You'll need to replace the filter at least every 2 months.

Also, they are noisy if you want the full cleaning effect. Not very practical in a bedroom.

I love my Alen air purifiers. I have one in my den, one in the master bedroom, one in the home office, and one at my office office. I suffer from dander and dust allergies. They are life savers, or sanity savers in my case.

Ours are the Honeywell brand and the filters last about 6 months. Filters and “pre filters” both have to be changed. I buy the replacements in bulk on amazon
