You can get a better mower but not at that price point....
I'm on my second Honda in past 20 years. I may still have my first if I wouldn't have hit a sawed off clothes line post hidden in weeds that bent the crankshaft. I've had this latest one 5 years and this may sound like BS claim but I've never pulled the starter more than once. Still starts on first pull and even after sitting up fall and winter.

I have an electric push and really like it. Unreal how quiet it is and the push button start is nice. Probably not the best option for a large yard though.

I bought a Ryobi push mower about two months ago to handle a smaller, fenced-in area of my back yard and it's been great thus far.

Yep, they're perfect for those 4:00am baws.

Agreed.
I have an electric weed eater and leaf blower. Both do their jobs well. Only reason I don't have an electric mower yet is because my gas Troy-Bilt won't stop working. Starts on first pull every single time for the last 4-5 years (not self-propelled).

Exactly. Why spend 2k plus time and effort as well as equipment maintenance on something I can pay a dude $30 to take care of and he assumes all the risk. Call it 3k for maintenance, upkeep and fuel/battery replacement on a mower, that’s 100 lawn cuts from someone and you don’t have to lift a finger

If you want to drop 2 grand on it, why not pay someone like $30 every two weeks or so to cut it?

I use all 40v Ryobi lawn equipment and absolutely love em, but I have never seen pros using my cheap shite.

My lot is 130'x 50' and I use the Troy-Bilt Riding Lawn Mower —382cc. Been having it for 4 yrs now and I haven't had a single problem with it. It's perfect for a small to medium size yard. Plus it has a drink holder for my beer.

If you are looking for something quiet and can keep it up and get some good exercise.
This works:
It is a reel mower no motor or batteries to mess with.
You power it.

You need to turn your man card in...now!
Dude seriously? Ok let’s tackle what you said first. You’re not gonna find somebody who will cut your grass for cheaper than $40 a pop. And that’s 4 times a month, 10 months a year. So that’s $1,200 a year, give or take.A new mower is about $1,500 - $2,000 based on what the OP is looking for It’s paid for itself in a little over a cutting season.
And if you’re that lazy that you don’t want to maintain your yard, that’s just sad. And I seriously doubt you live in a mansion with a multi acre lot. We’re probably talking a half acre or so (if that).

No shite. I want to see some evidence of commercial guys using Ryobi electric.

Hell, any electric.

I cut a 3/4 acre lot with the DR Trimmer Pro, on my 3rd one, I'll never buy anything but this machine, they are GREAT!

Battery power not bad option just cost what slows down sale on these units.
They do not need any maintenance except battery and blade or blades depending on size. Electric motors no drive or deck belt.
Roybi used old acid battery craftsman has lithium ion in 30”.
I sell a 42” rider with lithium ion battery.
2 hour run time.
Again it is cost that hurts the units sales unless you are in a market people use a lot of battery powered products.
Only issue is service centers are slow to pop as you have to pay $250 plus take a class on battery disposal.
So far I have not seen any I sold come back.

Same here. Keep air filter clean, fuel filter change once a year and oil change twice a year. I have lots of trees so use the bagger a lot on the fall. Honda is an excellent mower
