Candied jalapenos on cream cheese makes a damn good dip or filling for stuffed pork loin.
If I don't feel like stuffing the loin, I'll cut 1 1/2" slices and just use the glaze on grilled pork chops.

ETA: Tonight I’m going to try my hand at making tahini. I bought some sesame seeds yesterday. When I have enough eggplant I’m going to try making a baba ganoush.

there is a beer joint called Pivo's in the middle of nowhere, Lone Oak, Texas, that has a Lone Oak burger with candied jalapenos and cream cheese.

Well, I've complained about it being too cold up here. Finally warmed up some and the rest of this week will be cold again.
High on sat is forecasted to be 70.
I was enjoying the warmer temps as was my garden

I planted a couple of weeks earlier than I normally do...I was scrambling to cover my beds and pots that last week of April and MS turkey season when it got so cold.

Every year I tell myself I will be able to handle indeterminate tomatoes. This year might be the fastest they have gotten out of control. I pruned some of. the side stalks not too long ago, but, for every one I cut, a few more seemed to take their place. With a lot of rain, I didn't check my garden much for about a week. Now my tomatoes are just out of control, and I'm not sure I have the desire to tame them. On the bright side, they should make a LOT of cherry tomatoes for me and the wife. It is going to be a battle to keep them from falling over.

What recipe do you use when you pickle those jalapeno slices?

I use the exact same brine that I use for pickles. That Mrs Wages Kosher Dill recipe. If it ain’t broke.
Last night I made some tahini. Then I had enough eggplant for baba ganoush. I have no basis for comparison on the tahini, but I’d call it a success.
The baba ganoush came out fantastic. Although I will use a little less cayenne pepper and a tad more salt next time. I used this guy’s recipe. YouTube link
And some of my bigger beefmasters were in the breaker stage, so I went ahead and picked them. Not quite as impressive as bluemoons pink tie dye, but we are weighing in at 1 lb even.

after 12-inches of rain over the last week, my green beans appear to be succumbing. I think I have 98% male cucumber plants based on the amount of cucumbers we are getting. Tomatoes and peppers are producing like champs though! Crowder and Black Eye peas are going like gangbusters, too.

We ate our first cucumber this week. Got another about to be picked. The third one has Peyronie's disease.

Nice. Those are big. My experience with slicing hybrids is that they are normally smaller than heirlooms for whatever reason. I’ve got a couple good sized big beefs on the vine but nowhere near the size of some of the heirlooms waiting to ripen. I’ve got a giant Fred’s tomato that is still very green. Hopefully nothing happens to it between now and ripe stage ha.

Had to look it up, but laughed anyway.

Spent the morning being match maker with my squash plants. While playing just the tip, mockingbird flies in, goes under netting, flies up and grabs a cherry tomato. There’s no fighting Mother Nature.
Dug out the row of dirt my onions were in, threw some logs in trench, covered with grass clippings and leaves. Going to plant purple hulls on row today.

They are some MFers. I may have committed quite a few sins.
