Small-medium sized privacy/shade tree

Recently moved and my backyard has no trees. I have 30 ft from back porch to fence line, and that fence line is parallel with West/East (my back porch facing directly North).
What are some good trees that will provide privacy and provide some canopy without intruding into my neighbor’s yard behind me? Looking to plant 2 or 3 trees about 7-10 ft from the fence line.

Chinese elm, all day every day. Looks great with good shade and grows pretty quickly.

Red maple is a good, native, hearty tree.

I’m no expert but I’ve heard some pleasant things about frontier elms too, if staying in that family.
It’s a cross of Chinese and european and comes with some good disease resistance and will pop great color in the fall

I agree with this. Native trees will do best in our climate. They grow quick with multiple color changes through the year
Red in spring
Fantastic orange and yellow in fall
