Howdy all,
I am looking for a fencing company in the BR area (specifically Denham Springs) that you would recommend to redo a 6' wood fence.
The 1 thing mentioned in the title, I want to supply the wood. I have a good friend who works for a lumber supply company and can get me 5/8 6' boards for half the cost of Home Depot. Post and runners, same percentage.
I know that many installers will charge more to make up for the cost that they lose on the mark up of the wood. I am okay with that.
I know that many will not know a name off the top of their head that will do this, but who have yall used in the past that do a great job that I can call and ask if they are willing to work with me?

Not Forrest Scott. They installed a gate crooked and wanted to charge $125 to fix it.

Fence king did mine and I supplied everything but the labor and nails.

He installed a gate for me that went crooked and never answered requests for a fix. Forrest Scott seems to encourage being mistaken for his kin's long established and reliable "Scott Fencing".
The big operators stock fencing and may be less willing for the client to provide it than a smaller operator like Highland Fencing LINK They do a good job and had local workers when I used them.

Highland Fence referenced above is a great fence company. Stu is a great guy and will work with you. They did a rebuild for me where they tore down existing fence and just rebuilt the same adding an additional gate. Highly recommend them

Bayou Boys Fencing, LLC
This is what I requested -- and they did:
Cedar fence boards
Galvanized rink shank nails
2” from between the bottom of fence and the ground
3 horizontal runners - 6” to 8” from the top and bottom of the fence boards
4 x 6 cedar wood posts, set 24” deep
Form concrete around posts into symmetrical shape

Recently had a fence replaced in DS by Scott Fencing. They did a good job and we were pleased with the work. I don't know if they'd let you use your own lumber.
