Avoid Samsung like the plague
Absolute best advice you’ll get. I have the prettiest $3000 POS sitting in my kitchen…
Whirlpool have always been tops for me, always got the high end (Whirlpool Gold). I’ve had two different appliance repair guys tell me they recommend Whirlpool as well (while over working on the Samsuck refrigerator).

First, Everyone recs are suspect, including mine, except for Napoleon if he shows up.
I will say I am leary of LG and Samsung appliances, especially refrigerators, but I am not sure if that is warranted anymore.
If I were buying now I would go with Boch for the Dishwasher and GE for the fridge/freezer.
On the stovetop/oven, are you going with a range or a cooktop and separate oven? And gas or electric? I think I would lean GE for those in any case unless you want to step up to the pricier brands (which I know even less about).
As I stated initially, my advice on appliances is suspect.

The problem with picking a particular brand is that within the brand there are varying levels of quality. I support GE mainly because most of the appliances are made in America. Yes, it's owned by a Chinese company, but most of the manufacturing is done here in the USA.
That said, I've no doubt that someone can find a GE appliance made elsewhere.
Unfortunately, as the consumer it's up to you to do your homework on the brand and specific model you're interested in purchasing.

I'll file Kathy's name away for the next visit to Stantons.
I only recently realized that the relationship between appliance retailers and manufactures must be as complicated as car dealers/manufacturers... hold back... floor plans....rebates. The only important thing is that local dealers who have a priceless memory of successes and failures will negotiate with you. Salespeople want to make the sale. That's especially true if you are buying several pieces and go with a single brand giving the dealer the best profit position.

I tend to look at consumer reports but with a grain of salt on appliances when it comes to LG for refrigerators and Korean companies in washer-dryers.
The biggest issue with some of the ratings is they don't take appliance repair and parts availability into consideration. I learned that the hard way with a Kenmore-branded LG refrigerator. The appliance repair place I tend to use told me they didn't work on them due to parts availability and because the amount of labor needed to make certain repairs made it so it was not worth the repair as opposed to buying a new one. I think some of that may have changed but not willing to take the chance when the GEs are rated nearly as high.

For dishwashers; the Top 3 are Bosch, followed by Bosch with Bosch making the podium too. For real though; check Consumer Reports. And the best dishwasher list is owned by Bosch.

For years I built and flipped houses. Kathy handles all my accounts. Make an appointment, she will take her time, get just what you want, spending just what you want!

Too add, Kenmore makes nothing. If you want an appliance made by Whirlpool, they can look at the item number, tell you who makes that item for Sears.

We remodeled the kitchen in 2019 and went with all Bosch. The dishwasher went out in 2023 to repair it was $1200 so we bought an off brand to replace it. Gas stovetop when you simmer foods always clicks to restart the gas as if the fire went out. No issues with hood or microwave
