PSA - Sod Web Worms are out in south Louisiana

Just a heads up. I was out in the yard this morning and noted the swarms of sod web worm moths. Stopped and sprayed Talstar all over the yard as well as the shrubs as I was in the process of my monthly mosquito spaying.

Saw them yesterday evening. I’ll start my daily rounds and wait for any signs of larvae. If I do, Anderson’s Duocide ends them with the quickness.
I’ve tried fighting moths before but more just move in right after.

Great. My dog will enjoy the addition to her yard buffet. I’ve never seen a dog focused on hunting all of the grubs, bugs and lizards as she.

Just a heads up on Talstar, which i use to use,,if you have pets in my case dogs talstar can cause seizures if they ingest it, had it happen to to one of my dachsunds yrs ago.
