Nutsedge is taking over my yard. Anything I can put down now?

I've used Image in the past but it always comes back. Any advice?

I have a nutsedge problem as well.

Seems SedgeHammer is the go-to for killing it.

I’m just curious if I should try to kill it now so late in season and have barren spots through the winter, or treat early spring when I can over seed the bare areas.

Sedgehammer is a systemic herb. Dismiss is a contact herb

I honestly don’t know the price of sedgehammer as I get it in the ag-labeled form. I think Dismiss is like $50 for a pint or something like that.

Sedgehammer or prosedge if it’s cheaper. Kill it now. Don’t let a weed hang around.

Will this kill flowers too? Nutsedge is thick in a couple of my flowerbeds

Site One in Baton Rouge sells Sedgehammer+ singles for a little over $10 each. The singles mix with a gallon of water and come with a surfactant, so you're ready to go.

It might be best to call someone to broadcast sledgehammer Spot treating will take forever and you will miss some.

I have not found sedge hammer to kill anything but but sedge. I use it in my garden and just applied some to a large area in my Saint aug.
