The control panel for a AEW4530DDS Amana Wall Oven has stopped working. When you press a "button" nothing happens. The clock works but none of the buttons do. It looks like it might be discontinued. Any ideas where to look? I have tried sears, parts select, etc.

I know these things are used by other models. Any way to reliably find the other parts numbers? The tag says Maytag but it is branded Amana.

I feel like you could probably stand to not use your oven and skip a few meals anyway. Listen to this message from God.

How old is it? My parents just had an 18 year old wall oven and microwave replaced. The appliances were still in great condition, but needed a few fixes. No luck finding parts or anyone who could fix them.

It'd be cheaper to just buy a bunch of Sterno and cook in the microwave using them.

Amana = Whirlpool.

Look for a similar Whirlpool item. Should be a direct fit.

Source: worked in inventory for my old company’s appliances product category for a year.

Building on Harambe's suggestion - Repairclinic.com lists p/n WP74008313 for the control panel.

Found a refurbished unit on Partsimple.com Link thingy

I've purchased from them before and their parts are as good as new.

Good Luck.

did you open it up and make sure there isnt a fuse on it behind the panel?

go to ebay and type in the part number and you can find just about any part but if its old enough to be an outdated discontinued part, then its time for a new oven.

still check ebay though because sometimes you can find used parts like that if its a popular oven style

double check the part number but look here and there are several for under $200 LINK

For that price, just look into a new oven. Personally, I wouldn't spend $350 for one part for a discontinued model wall oven.
