I'll be moving Gonzales in the next two months or so, who is the best internet provider in the area? I've heard Cox is no good, what about AT&T and Eatel?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've been pleased with Eatel. Also, you may not have an option depending on where you are going

Whichever provider gives you the option to have fiber to the home, go with that. I have Eatel fiber and it has been very reliable. Just make sure you get a good router as the Eatel provided modem/router sucks.

Eatel does not meter your usage. I had Cox and had to pay for an additional 500GBs due to streaming and cameras set up around the house.

Eatel and it isn't even close.
You're essentially in their backyard too.

When we lived out there from 2007-2014 we had Cox and Eatel available. We changed every year because they each would offer you everything for $99/month for one year just to steal you from the other provider. Both provided reliable service back then.

I'm about to jump on AT&T fiber optic. Is their router good enough or should I find a better one on my own? Suggestions?

If you don't go with Eatel, you're missing out.
