There not really moths until after they eat your yard up. I have put down 2 types "grub/insect" killer an still have a few. You can to Lowes or HD and get granular insect/grub killer like Sevin or Spectracide Triazicide

Oh they are definitely eating the lawn. My poor neighbors front lawn got crushed in just a few days. It’s really just happening in my backyard currently

Anderson’s Duocide. The grubs are eating your grass, not the moths.

Talstar/Bifen on the moths though they may return.

You have to treat two weeks apart, 3 different times to end their life cycle

Moths don't really mean you'll lose your lawn. Moth's aren't eating your grass. Those moth's may or may not be sod webworm moths. If you do see something eating your grass then odds are they are sod webworms. A simple spray with talstar or wisdom will get rid of them.

The sod webworms are really bad this year. Spray Cyonara and a systematic. Spray them around dusk when the worms are coming up. You can put down a granular too.

I had a DynaTrap, it killed every moth and skeeter but the frogs had a feast and I had frog doo doo everywhere. I turned that thing off.

I just put Biden IT down yesterday. I do it every six weeks. If not they will destroy your yard in a few days. They will come back but you can manage them if you stay on top of it

Yeah, I had recent lawn damage from sodwebdworms as well. I was not prepared for them to come so early this summer. Typically I have had problems late summer/early fall.

I sprayed some Talstar 1oz/gal a few weeks ago and it did not knock them out. I just sprayed Dylox and Imidacloprid this evening.

I think the Talstar only kills the living ones, not the larvae so it takes multiple applications.

Plus, more importantly, the moths don't maintain property boundaries so inevitably they will return without constant attention.

If you see little spider webs on the lawn early in the morning when the dew settles, then you have sod webworms. Get something to spray or they will kill big areas of your lawn.
