We’ve lived in this house since 08 and I can’t remember ever seeing a millipede around. Now they are everywhere outside my house, occasionally getting inside. I just walked around on my back porch(concrete), driveway, and walkway leading to my front door. In about the last 15min, I probably killed 100 millipedes. We put in a pool last Nov so that’s the only thing different than all the other years we’ve lived here. Anybody have any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

When I spray Suspend SC on the patio they start turning up dead.

Of all the things that might come into the house, a milipede is far more preferable.

I have been infested for a month now. Some days better than others. Bastards all over my kitchen and foyer inside too.

For me, it’s the year of the earwigs. I have been killing 1-3/day for the past couple months. Weird

Been in this house nearly 22 years.Have had millipede infestations twice, thousands of them. Sprayed them with several things but nothing seemed to help that much.

Earwigs are what I typically have problems with. I still see them but not nearly as bad as the millipedes. I just don’t know what’s changed besides having the pool built. Now I’m also about to start construction on a pool house so the landscaping hasn’t been completed. Maybe when I get some landscaping on this open dirt, things will change.

A few years back, I had terrible problems with millipedes. I did some reading and found that they eat Turns out they eat decaying plant matter. I’ve got some azaleas planted alon the base of the whole back wall of my house and I realized that there was a shitload of leaves, etc. under those plants. When I cleaned all of that up, my millipede problem disappeared.

Silverfish for me. I think they’re harmless though.
