What are some must-have’s for the set up?
Do you need two pegs to hang a screwdriver or do they make a pegs for that?

Thanks.

Harbor Freight has a set with screwdriver holders, etc.

I remember when I had so few tools that a pegboard was useful. Now the one I have left only holds grinder wheels, spare electrical tape rolls, spare adjustable wrench, and some small clamps. I need room with heavy shelves, tool chests, and work benches with deep drawers for even half of what I own now...

That’s kind of where I am. I’ve accumulated so many tools over the past few years, I just have no organization.
I probably have 8 or 9 flatheads alone.

Yeah I saw the same thing online, but the store said they don’t have it yet. I’m assuming Lowes would, but haven’t been yet

They make a long holder with multiple holes in for screwdrivers.

Do you have a tool box? I keep all my screwdrivers and things in there. The peg board holds some random things, my drills, levels, etc.

I just finished up the bench and pegboard and garage organization a week ago or so. I can certainly fit more things on the pegboard, but I want to stay organized.

Here’s what the Home Depot multiple tool holder looks like that can hold a handful of screwdrivers.

The peg board is pretty much useless to me with the amount of tools I have as well. Plus I dont like stuff not to be enclosed cause it ends up getting dirty, rusting, and spider webs on it.

But I'm not unorganized.

I have several tool boxes.

1. One for my standard tools. Screw drivers, pliers channel locks, vise grips, measuring tapes etc.

2. One for my electical tools.
Wire strippers, second set of needle nose, soldering irons, multimeters, etc.

3. One for my sockets and wrenches.

4. One for my drill bits and drill accessories.

5. One for randomly used tools. Like Plumb Bob, files, punches, chaulk line, etc.

Then I have some heavy duty tubberware type containers I store my power tools in.

ETA: I like using several tool boxes instead of a big tool cabinet because they are more mobile. But to each his own.

Get pegs that fit. The cheap kits from harbor freight are smaller diameter hooks and will fall out every time you take something off of them. If you use them, use a zip tie through the holes to either side to hold it in place.

I would personally use this Magnetic Screwdriver Holder the way the screwdrivers hang with the wire ones just drives my OCD nuts

Thanks for the input. Got it set up and now have a legit corner if the garage reserved just for me. The little work bench transformed the area
