Is there a reason grass grows better under trampoline?

When we got it I was worried about the grass dying so I was always moving it around. I haven’t moved it in about a month now and the grass under it is twice as long as the rest of the yard.

They’re probably stretching to reach more sunlight.

How frequently are you urinating on the trampoline?

Me? Very infrequently. I can’t be sure about the kids though.

Because you can’t reach it with the lawn mower.

its simple if you think about it, less direct sunlight means the ground doesnt dry out as much and more water makes it grow faster

It grows better because it is protected from frost

Heat is the only correct answer. Plants like heat. That is why it grows better along your driveway too

If you’ve cut the grass in the past month, I think I found your problem

I may have exaggerated not moving it in a month. I moved it when I cut the grass which was a couple of weeks ago. The grass all started the same but I’m not exaggerating that it’s twice as long underneath.

I was just messing with you. I have one in my backyard and know exactly what you’re talking about. Sometimes it’s more ‘stringy?’ than the other grass too

My guess is that it’s just a spring green up still and the grass isn’t growing due to the sunlight but using stored energy. Possibly as said it’s warmer under there or something due to trampoline insulating it? So once it starts growing due to sunlight it will lag behind your grass outside of it.
