Is there a decent garden hose under a buck a foot?

I just had a 125’ 10 year Flexon hose start ballooning and destroying itself after 2.5 years. They honored the warranty, but I’d kind of like something that will last.
Hope depot is running a sale through tomorrow for a 100’ “contractor grade” “lifetime” hose for $30. I took one home, hooked it up, and it already had pin hole leaks.
Is there a sweet spot in price, brand, or material for these things? I prefer to keep them pressurized for most of the year because of heavy use. I know that’s bad for a number of reasons.
Our other two spigots don’t see nearly the use and we turn off the water then rack instead of reel the hoses. Mid-grade hoses seem fine on those.

I put together a Flexzilla hose, wasn't cheap for 75' of 3/4" hose and fittings but it is nice stuff and I got everything from a local Tru Value

We use Flexilla air hose. They're great and last about a year with heavy, heavy use.
Best advice - don't run over them with a car too many times. That's what these dumbasses do here, and they eventually get a bubble blow out.

just make sure it has brass fittings.

US-made Water Right hoses cost $2 per foot for 5/8" ID but I've never thrown one away like I have cheaper hoses.

I bought (3) Briggs & Stratton rubber hoses off of Amazon a month ago.... feel nice and were the best reviewed I could find

I built a few air hoses with them before a water hose. Replaced some old 1/4" hoses that were getting brittle. Figure these will last a very long time for my use.

I bought Harbor Freight's Contractor hoses when they went on sale. I'm on year 3 right now, and have not had any issues yet.

I have a couple of black 50' rubber hoses that are stamped goodyear. I got them at lowes about 10-12 years ago. They work great. I do make sure to drain and put them away in the fall so they wont freeze. But during spring and summer they are on a bracket bolted to the house.
Heavy duty, nice heavy brass ends.
