Insulated vs non-insulated Garage doors for new home?

In the building process now, garage is attached to Acadian style home. Garage exterior walls are not insulated. Garage door companies offer insulated and non-insulated options. Doors to face North. Cost increases by 18%
I’m wondering what benefits I could get out of insulated garage doors other than some noise reduction?
Any advice is appreciated

Noise reduction as well as insulation for hot/cold.
I've had both. Love the insulated ones.

I've had both. Mine current is insulated. Worth it.

With uninsulated walls and ceiling?
I would think you want all/none in this instance.

Insualted and at least prewire/plumb for a mini split. My climate controlled garage has been a peace keeper this week with the inlaws here lol

I wish mine was insulated. Hell I wish mine didn't have huge air gaps around the edges.

Insulated is well worth it, but my garage is also insulated.
If you didn’t spend the additional money to insulate the space, I’m not sure the garage doors will be worth while. Significant heat does come through the doors, so it will definitely help, but may not be as beneficial without insulated walls and ceiling.

Go for insulated.
A definite must if you plan on a bonus room above the garage.

Insulated for the win.
Much quieter going up and down. Won't rattle as much.
PLus, with a sprayfoamed garage, you can drop a small vent in there from your HVAC and it'll keep the chill off in the winter and the heat knocked down in the summer.
Get the thicker door too. Worth it.

Insulated... but i live in the north and garage is much warmer in winter. It also keeps garage cooler in summer as i have s facing garage door which helps ac in house.
