It looks like Lowe's is only 4 bags for $10 (look at the bottom), not 5 bags like Home Depot. Unless that's an old ad and they have a new one coming out tomorrow.

That Milwaukee blower for $99 is a hell of a deal. I paid full price for mine a few months ago and I love it.

That's an old ad. Look at the ad starting tomorrow, it is 5 for 10 like HD.

Roger that...I stand corrected! It looks like the Lowe's mulch which is Scott's Nature Scapes in the ad, is a better mulch then the Scott's Earthgro being sold by Home Depot. This is according to Scott's website.

"Scott's Nature Scapes - Scotts' best mulch with year-long color - guaranteed!"

I wouldn't waste any money on Scott's mulch. Half of it will be in your yard the first time you blow. The mulch is more like chips, its not the good shredded kind that will interlock together and compress.

I bought 5 of those bags of mulch today for $1 each. The ends had split open.

Given the sales that are starting, we may buy some of the stuff we want to plant this weekend but since weather is going to be shite may not put it in the ground till next weekend. Will a flowers and possibly shrubs be ok for a week just sitting outside in the dirt they came in?

Lowe's is having the same sale on better mulch (Scott's Nature Scapes at Lowe's vs Vigoro or Earthgro at Home Depot) from what I've researched.

Yes, the Lowe's version of Scott's mulch is better quality for the same price. I just left the Lowe's on Millerville in BR. Bought 40 bags of mulch for $80, and 30 bags of Miracle Gro Garden Soil for $60. That's a hell of a deal. That mulch is normally $5/bag
