Amaz Clean and Green

Only thing I’ve found that works. Does take some elbow grease though.

Following. I have tried every trick in the book, from plain old vinegar and baking soda, to every cleaner I have found that is supposed to do it. Nothing has worked for me. Stays with a hazy look.

Youve got to have an abrasive for soap scum

Vinegar and other acids dont do shite for soap scum

Unless your glass is 20+ years old,

Bar keepers friend will get it clean

I just cleaned my glass shower doors last weekend after trying everything in the book over the last 3 years since moving into this house. I am happy to report I found the solution- it was recommended by a cleaning company that is based in Canada that I follow on Instagram. Mix one cup of vinegar and 2 tbsp of blue dawn dish detergent into a spray bottle & shake. Spray the glass real well and let sit for at least an hour if not overnight (depending on how bad it is). After waiting, go in with a sponge (one that is abrasive on one side) & scrub. Put a lot of elbow grease into it. I was pleasantly surprised with the results! Not 100% better, but def 85% better than before. I could prob do it again and get it 100% clean; it’s just that I’m 6 mos pregnant and tired LOL

Spray Pam cooking oil all over the glass. Let it sit 5 or 10 mins. Climb in shower with water as hot as you can stand it and rinse wiping with a cloth. Works great!!

Just cleaned my glass shower doors this morning. I used Barkeeper’s Friend liquid, one of those blue scotch pads, and a Ryobi brush that you can use with a drill.

-Scrubbed it with the Barkeepers Friend and scotch pad
-Used the brush with the drill
-Wiped the glass down with water and rag
-Dried the glass
-Windexed the glass
-Rain-X’ed the glass

Looks brand new I am happy with the results.

This is the method I use and works great. Get a spray bottle and put a cup of hot vinegar in it. (I usually put it in the microwave and bring it just to a boil) Put the hot vinegar in the spray bottle. Then pour an equal or slightly lesser amount of blue dawn into the spray bottle with the hot vinegar (hot vinegar thins the dawn out a little), shake it up and then spray on the area you want to clean. Wait about 30 min and wipe down with a wet rag or sponge. Easy as can be and works great. You can thank me later. Merry Christmas!

PS: Turn on your bathroom fans because as you can imagine with vinegar it stinks pretty bad.

Need to know if it is actually soap scum or hard water residue. If hard water residue It make take something close to a blow torch to get it off.
