So got some lantana in a flower bed…. Looks great during May, green leaves, yellow flowers…. To the point where I have to trim..
Over the last few weeks…no more flowers, and leaves look dead/ brown/ yellowish…
Any suggestions? And I do t know how to post pics… sorry

this is a rare topic because lantanas usually thrive on heat and neglect
my first guess would be too much shade. Are they getting ~8 hours of direct sunlight daily?

Yep full sun all day.
My dad used to say spray with malathion (?) when he had them years
Back…. He’s dead now so can’t confirm that with him…

I couldn’t kill my lantana with agent orange. Not sure what’s going on but the only thing I’ve ever seen capable of stunting it is too much water

It’s more than likely Lace Bugs damage. Cut them back and then spray with Insecticidal Soap, All Season Oil or a systemic insecticide.

Here to say that I have been successful in killing most every variety of plant except lantana. Could survive a nuclear apocalypse with the cockroaches

Sounds like lacewing bugs. Mine needs spraying right now. Neem oil works too.

Thing is they aren’t dead… just no flowers and look like crap…

Can we get a pic? Never seen these dudes struggle, the purple flower version is thriving for me even though there's an entire hog trough over it.
