Good haul of straight white oak logs

Baws, it's been a good day. I had 3 nice white oaks, but they've grown to the point that they're quite close to the house and I've been concerned about tornadoes/wind. I cut them down today and those trunks are straight as an arrow.
I usually turn my gnarly white oaks into firewood, buy these are going to go to a sawmill and make beautiful lumber.

Enjoy your higher AC bills.

I'm not worried about electric bills. We just went through a 4 month remodel and have a new 2-stage 16 seer AC unit , all new windows and all new insulation.

Any ideas on what you’ll do with the lumber? I have a few white oaks and maple trees I’ll be removing off my property soon and would love to hear some ideas on what to make with the lumber.

Did you use a low-e glass?

I have no clue how long but we were getting the house remodeled, so I insisted that the windows and insulation be upgraded. We got low-e Andersen windows and some kind of darker shade of tint.

Aluminum foil would have been cheaper.
