I will be in the area Thursday and Friday and I will be going to a few of these nurseries. There are so many of them, do you guys recommend any certain one that are better than others? Also is there a nursery there that specializes in camellias, i need to pick up a few of them. Any tips and recommendations are appreciated.

Also pay cash and avoid taxes or CC fees.

Doug young… they will give you a map and you just drive through the fields and pick what you want. It’s huge, drive back around to the front and they ring up what you got

I used Doug Young a few years ago and everything there was really great. I will say for whatever reason their fern prices were higher than local places but everything else was priced amazingly and all did quite well after transplant.

For Camellias, I would make the trip to Mizells in the Folsom area. They are a Camellia nursery with ~100 varieties in all sizes. Really amazing place.
